Sonoma Remodel: Before and After Photos of a Transformed Ranch House

It is indeed true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some things could look beautiful for us but not pleasing for others. There are some things that may appear useful for others but are actually useful for us. Just like how a family looked into a dark and dry ranch house. When they saw it, they knew it is promising and that it can turn into a cozy home for their family in no time!

A couple was looking for second a home in Sonoma, California and they spotted this 1940s ranch house which was a former house and office of a doctor. They knew in an instant that a renovation can transform it into a home of their dreams with a master suite addition, back courtyard and a pool. The 1,900 square feet ranch home turned into a contemporary 2,500 square feet home. Let us see what Amy A. Alper of Alper Architects did to the home.

I know you loved how the renovation turned out! I was stunned by the pool area! I would really love to get a place like this one in my backyard! Because the highlight of the home is seen at the backyard, neighbors and by passers will think that only the facade was update but they are totally wrong! This Sonoma Remodel, although it has few photos is one of the best renovations I have seen. And yes, I am talking about what they did to the exterior and how they added a courtyard and a pool.
